The NOAA Center for Tsunami Research provides data from sea-level tidal gages in the Pacific and along the U.S. coastline. The figure below compares data (in black) with DART (Deep-ocean Assessment and Reporting of Tsunamis) model series (red). The Tokyo record below shows a maximum peak-to-peak amplitude of over 2 meters.

Data from the U.S West Coast, shown below, reveals an approximately 30 minute periodicity of the tsunamigenic tidal variation. Also note the 3-meter high amplitude variation at Crescent City, a location notorious for its large tsunami waves.
